About The Author

Emily Koczela is the founder and director of the Very Young Catholics Project. A lifelong Catholic, lawyer, and former Chief Financial Officer for a network of Catholic schools, Emily is also a mother of six and grandmother of fifteen (and counting!).

Her travels to Mass in more than a dozen countries revealed the beautiful unity of Catholic faith across cultures, inspiring her to create this global Catholic children’s book series.

Emily has the support of priests and parishes around the world and often reflects on these words from the Eucharistic Prayer:

A smiling woman with short dark hair, glasses, and pearl earrings, wearing a dark jacket and a necklace, in an indoor setting.

“You never cease to gather a people to yourself, so that from the rising of the sun to its setting a pure sacrifice may be offered to your name.”
